The Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, a public cultural institution that operates under the authority of the Cluj County Council, invites you on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 5:00 p.m., to the book launch “Unique sequences from the history of Cluj - city and county”.
The event will take place in the Reduta Hall of the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography (21, Memorandum street).
Professor Vladimir-Alexandru Bogosavlievici continues his collaboration with the journalists’ guild, managing to edit a new volume of stories related to the history of our city and county. Thus, after the collaboration with Radio Cluj and the series of materials published in Mănăştur Buletin, completed with the first volumes from the collection “Exploring historical Cluj”, the well-known BOGO brings to the readers’ attention a new volume: “Unprecedented sequences from the history of Cluj - city and county”.
The book published by Arcadia Media, in a trilingual edition - Romanian, Hungarian and English - is the result of collaboration with journalist Marius Avram, as part of a project carried out by the Cluj24 Association.
Along with professor Vladimir Alexandru Bogosavlievici, journalist Marius Avram and their guests, there will be: prof. dr. Radu Ardevan, dr. Remus Câmpeanu, main researcher, prof. dr. Laszlo Alexandru, prof. dr. Alina Monica Bărăian, prof. dr. Mihai-Florin Hasan, dr. Tudor Sălăgean, manager of the Ethnographic Museum of Transylvania.
In addition to the book launch, you are invited to view a unique exhibition of documents and images - people and facts - of historical and cultural personalities who left their mark on our city. These unique documents are part of the private collection of the journalist Marius Avram.
